Job Summary:
The full-time Medical Assistant/Receptionist is responsible for administrative and clinical duties delegated by the medical and clinical staff. The duties of the Medical Assistant/Receptionist vary from office to office based on size and specialty of the practice. The incumbent will perform various front office and back office patient care duties. More specifically, this position will assist with flow of patients from the waiting area to exam rooms, POC testing, phlebotomy, and perform preparatory work on patients to ensure efficient use of the physician's time. Hours: M-F/8am-8pm & Sat or Sun/9am-5pm

 

Education Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant Program.


License/Certification/Registry:

  • Certified Medical Assistant or Registered Medical Assistant required.
