Job Summary:
The Manager, Special Events and Community Giving is responsible for all Foundation events including planning, execution, and follow-up. In this role he/she collaborates with colleagues as well as administrative and volunteer leadership so that events are aligned with Foundation goals and mission. He/she will also manage all aspects of fundraising programs associated with donors in the under $1000 range. This person reports to the Director of Development.

Job Essentials: The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements and competencies.

  • Five years' progressively responsible experience as a development professional with demonstrated project and event management skills.
  • Strong, demonstrated organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong computer skills and Raiser's Edge experience
  • Fiscal responsibility
  • Exemplifies Service Excellence

 

Education Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree required.
