Job Summary:

The Lead outpatient respiratory therapist is responsible for the delivery of respiratory care services in all areas of the Medical Center and all patient populations Duties include: Supervising shift workload and resource allocation, Managing problems that arise and assures staffing levels are appropriate, and collaborates with the leadership team to ensure quality metrics are met. The outpatient respiratory therapy lead will demonstrate standards of Service Excellence.

Shift: 8 hour days
Hours: 8a - 4p

Job Essentials: The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements and competencies.

• At least 3-5 years of experience in the practice of respiratory care is preferred

Education Requirements:

• Associate's Degree in Respiratory Care Required, Bachelor's Preferred
• Graduate with certificate of completion from a two or four-year NBRC approved program in respiratory care:
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist required
  • CPFT preferred
• Current BLS training with recertification every two years.
• Must participate in continuing education activities to ensure departmental and licensure requirements are met.

License/Certification/Registry:

• Licensed in the state of New Jersey to practice respiratory therapy.
