Job Summary:
Under supervision, cleans, sterilizes and assembles patient care equipment, supplies and instruments according to prescribed procedures and techniques. Assembles surgical instruments, trays, etc. Sterilizes instruments, equipment, linens and a variety of supplies such as surgical packs, treatment trays and the like using steam or gas sterilizer. Prepares packs of supplies and wraps, labels and seals same.

Job Essentials: 2 years' SPD experience preferred.
Education Requirements: HS dip/GED, graduate SPD program.
License/Certification/Registry: Certified SPD.
