Job Summary:

The Accounts Payable Associate is responsible for processing documents for payment of vendor invoices and check requests. The ideal candidate possesses a strong attention to detail to input invoice data for non purchase orders; review and match invoices for verification of price and quantity. Investigates and rectifies all discrepancies. Maintains vendor profiles and updates when needed. Scan processes invoices into the Onbase system. Maintain file of outstanding invoices and reconciles vendor statements and prepares monthly unrecorded liability accruals. Must also communicate with vendors to reconcile outstanding invoices.

Job Essentials: The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements and competencies.

• Minimum of two (2) years of Accounts Payable experience
• Ability to work as a team and independently
• Strong verbal, written and problem solving abilities
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Infor ERP & OCR Onbase system knowledge preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint

Education Requirements:

• High School diploma required.
