Hourly Rate: $23.00-$24.00
Administrative Support:
- Answer phones and direct calls appropriately.
- Check clients in and out of the job center.
- Maintain and update records with high attention to detail, data and paperwork management.
- Order and manage office supplies; operate basic office equipment such as copiers, fax machines, and printers.
Client Services:
- Assist job seekers in the career center resource room with basic services.
- Provide information and support to clients regarding available resources and services.
- Ensure a welcoming and supportive environment for all clients.
- Assessment/Eligibility of participants per project plan.
- Maintain case records detailing service needs and activities/arrangements for their fulfillment, according to data-management procedures established by program management and the funding sources.
- Conduct follow-ups with clients to track progress and provide ongoing support.
- Assist and/or facilitate program orientation or workshops at the job center or in the community.
- Attend and participate in community outreach events to promote career center services. Assist with identifying and recruiting target population of clients for program enrollment.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required. Additional education or certification in a related field is a plus.
- 2+ years of administrative or customer service experience required. Experience in a similar administrative or customer service role is preferred.
- Required to pass a drug screen in compliance with our Substance Abuse and Drug-Free Workplace policy. Eckerd Connects adheres to California law CA A.B. 2188 regarding employer drug screening, for California residents.
- Must have appropriate and valid state driver's license and be able to meet requirements for Eckerd's Auto Insurance and be able to drive for business purposes. Required to attend community events, local travel 10-20% of the time.

About Our Workforce Programs:
Eckerd Connects provides Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) services through contracts with the U.S. Department of Labor and local workforce boards, partnerships, and strategies to provide and create a career pathway for youth, adults, and dislocated workers. Training services include occupational skills training, customized training, on-the-job training, incumbent worker training, and transitional employment opportunities. We provide youth with development, academic instruction, career & technical education, and access to the 14 WIOA Youth Elements. We establish and develop relationships and networks with large and small employers and their intermediaries as well as develop, convene, or implement industry or sector partnerships.
