That's Nice, But What's the Job?

This is not a position for which sponsorship will be provided. Individuals with temporary visas or who need sponsorship now or in the future are not eligible for hire at this time.

We are seeking an experienced Sr.  Process Analyst to lead process optimization efforts within GoFi's auto loan origination team. This role will focus on identifying inefficiencies, eliminating waste, creating and refining controls, and developing best-in-class processes that deliver repeatable and predictable results. The candidate will apply the DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) methodology to improve processes, work closely with other Lines of Business (LOBs) within the DriveTime family of companies, and ensure that processes are scalable and aligned with the organization's strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process Mapping and Documentation:

    • Create, document, and maintain detailed process maps for auto loan origination workflows, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and repeatability.

    • Collaborate with various teams to ensure process documentation reflects current workflows and business needs.

    • Consult with Legal, Compliance, and Operations to identify regulations and operational requirements within the processes; which will yield controls.

  • Waste Identification and Process Optimization:

    • Leverage DMAIC methodology to identify areas of waste, inefficiency, or bottlenecks in existing processes.

    • Develop and implement solutions that streamline processes to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and produce predictable and consistent results.

  • Controls Development:

    • Develop and implement process controls that ensure processes are standardized, efficient, and comply with regulatory requirements.

    • Monitor and maintain controls to guarantee repeatability and predictability of process outcomes.

    • Remediate and lead efforts to mitigate Issues and Events.

  • Cross-LOB Collaboration:

    • Partner with other LOBs across the DriveTime family of companies to align processes and collaborate on cross-functional initiatives.

    • Ensure processes are scalable and aligned with the broader goals of the organization, driving consistency across business units.

  • New Process Development and Implementation:

    • Develop actionable recommendations for process improvements that enhance both efficiency, waste reduction, and predictability.

    • Present options and outcomes to leadership, highlighting the impact on efficiency, operational performance, and customer satisfaction.

    • Design and implement new processes to meet evolving business needs, ensuring that they are repeatable and predictable.

    • Prepare process documentation, training materials, and SOP development for successful rollout of new processes.

  • Project Management and Stakeholder Engagement:

    • Manage end-to-end process improvement projects, from defining objectives to executing solutions and measuring results.

    • Foster strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization, ensuring alignment with business objectives and priorities.

Qualifications

  • Education & Experience:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

    • 4+ years of experience in process management, business analysis, or operations improvement.

    • Proven experience with DMAIC, Lean Six Sigma, or similar process improvement methodologies.

    • Experience in the financial services, auto lending, or related industries is highly preferred.

  • Skills & Competencies:

    • Strong proficiency in process mapping tools such as Microsoft Visio, Miro, or similar.

    • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to evaluate data, uncover inefficiencies, and propose actionable solutions.

    • Expertise in developing, implementing, and monitoring process controls to ensure operational compliance, repeatability, and predictability.

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across departments and collaborate with teams in other LOBs.

    • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Certifications (Preferred):

    • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification.

    • Process Management or Business Process Management certification is a plus.
