That's Nice, But What Does an Elite Cosmetic Associate do?

In short, as an Elite Cosmetic Associate, you are a master level painter and repair specialist. You will play a critical role in the repair of DriveTime vehicles and will work closely with Reconditioning Center General Manager and/or Line Lead to complete all requested work and repairs.

In long, our Elite Cosmetic Associates are responsible for:

· Master level painting and repair.

· Perform color blending and color matching, and apply finishes resulting in a high quality finish.

· Operate spray-dying equipment, power tools, fillers, stitching, sanding and work aids utilizing specific surface preparation and repair techniques.

· Mix dyes to specified color using formulas, color charts or matching premixed containers.

· Work with Reconditioning Center Management to repair or reject inventory based on estimated cost of repairs and/or the overall quality of the vehicle.

· Identifying and completing repairs effectively the first time, to minimize re-work and delays in production.

· Work in ways that decrease the possibility of injury to yourself or other team members in the shop due to spills or other preventable hazardous conditions.

· Using, storing, and maintaining equipment properly.

· Maintain a daily performance logs and review with the Reconditioning Center General Manager.

· Performing daily area inspections to ensure Cosmetic Associates are keeping clean and safe workstations.

Pay: $28 / hour
