What's Under the Hood
DriveTime Family of Brands includes in-house financing and servicing through Bridgecrest, which is one of the country's leading financial servicing providers. Bridgecrest services roughly $17 billion in finance receivables for DriveTime and other third parties. We service auto loans across a wide credit spectrum with the intent of creating a strong path to vehicle ownership for our customers.
That's Nice, But What's the Job?
In short, this position calls for a motivated individual looking to contribute to a results-oriented and high performance team. The position's main focus is to provide settlement offers and payment plans for charged-off loans and deficiency balances to our customers.
In long, this position is responsible to:
- Generate customer contact for charged off and deficiency balance loans
- Negotiate an initial settlement offer and/or payment plan on remaining balances
- Provide excellent customer service to customers
- Maintain positive working relationships and communication with all operations groups
- Performs other related duties as assigned
So What Kind of Folks Are We Looking for?
- Self-driven yet selfless. We need someone capable of managing their own time and business, yet is capable of making decisions for the betterment of DriveTime, not just themselves.
- A mind for the details. Okay we know “detail-oriented” is on about every job description – but we really mean it!
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. The ability to talk and write with confidence, charisma and competence for a wide variety of audiences including management.
- Quality decision maker. Good decisions are made based on knowledge. We'll need you to gather all the facts and take them all into consideration when making decisions.
- Positive emotional resilience. Problems will arise. We want to make sure you have the ability to rise past them while maintaining an optimistic attitude.
The Specifics.
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Between 3 to 10 years of experience in collections, customer service, sales or retail industry.
- Must be comfortable working on site and have availability weekdays from 7am-5pm.
