Oversees Utility Setup for all New, Relocation and ad hoc projects to include Electrical, Gas, Water, etc. Manages the action-driven analysis of various information through complex research and reporting to improve processes and procedures as they relate to accuracy of Utility Spend, Construction Trends, and R&M trends to minimize cost to the company. Manages and conducts fact-finding, analysis, and problem resolution by using all available resources and tools including Internet websites, and other on-line computer systems and developing new databases and spreadsheet/database reports.
Job Details:- Analyzes and Tracks spending trends across periods in relation to store Utilities to manage an accurate forecasting model developed by a third party for year over year spend. Will provide regular feedback and guidance to Energy Manager, Construction teams and R&M team regarding identified trends and potential causes to assist in targeting spend reduction initiatives.
- Oversees Utility setup process and progress via third party vendor and works with the Utility Coordinator to ensure all New and Relocation projects open with all necessary utilities to include Electricity, Water, Gas and any other project specific or municipal required utility.
- Works with the Director of Development Operations and A&E team to identify cost savings/avoidance and relays those opportunities to the Store Development Leadership team.
- Ability to identify trends and make recommendations to improve processes
- Ability to make tough decisions and recommendations even when unpopular
- Highly organized with advanced office skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects, often with conflicting time constraints
- Excellent accounting and finance based skills
- Strong knowledge of personal computers and Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Bachelor's degree required and two to four years related experience preferred. Four to six years' experience may be substituted for degree.
