Job Details:

Product Owner II, working independently, serves as the voice of the customer to guide development teams in building software capabilities with the highest business and customer impact.  The Product Owner II is considered an expert in their field and often sought out by other teams to assist in product delivery.  They represent business needs and priorities, prioritize and manage the product backlog, and incorporate feedback from business stakeholders to guide continuous product improvement.  The PO II is accountable for the delivery of business outcomes for one or more products of medium to high complexity.  

 

• Servant-Leader for multiple cross functional teams of indirect reports with a portfolio of multiple products
• Accepts high-level objectives from CRMs and works with stakeholders to convert business needs into product requirements
• Facilitates workshops and manages a variety of viewpoints to build consensus and create positive outcomes for all parties
• Leads engineers and stakeholders to agree on Minimal viable product/feature definitions
• Serves as the voice of the customer and is accountable for delivery of business outcomes through technology products
• Develops business cases and agile stories while prioritizing the highest impact work for the team and stakeholders
• Divides work into segments that can be completed and tested within one sprint
• Develops and communicates product vision, strategy and related roadmap for the product
• Leads sprint review meetings and analyzes feedback to identify and understand product needs
• Acts as an ambassador for the product and primary technical contact for the engineering team
• Sets expectations with business stakeholders for delivery of new capabilities, features, and functionalities
• Responsible for Release Planning and overall delivery and speed to market
• Understands how features are performing, the level of customer satisfaction, and provides suggestions for improvement

 

 

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of relevant experience in IT, Retail technology
• 3+ years in diverse roles and increasing responsibilities across business and IT CSPO desirable
• Demonstrate knowledge of the product management discipline
• Basic familiarity with the principles of design thinking, and lead and agile software delivery
• 3+ years working in or with lean and agile software delivery teams
• Experience with Symphony Gold application within the order management and assortment modules preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering or other technical discipline or equivalent experience
