The Advertising Manager is responsible for overseeing the development and execution of each weekly ad and ensuring accuracy across all touchpoints and final versions while adhering to deadlines. This role will oversee a team of agency partners and creative designers while also partnering with key internal business stakeholders across merchandising, pricing, in-store execution, and store operations. The ideal candidate will be well having strong project management skills, organized, attention to detail, an effective multitasker, and most importantly, an effective communicator at all levels.
Job Details:- Develop timelines and schedules for weekly ad program across all touchpoints: initiation, proofing, meetings/reviews, finalization while ensuring we are meeting all deadlines
- Manage creative agency day-to-day team and the touchpoints of weekly ad proofing to ensure accuracy and identify any changes that need to be made prior to finalizing the ad. This includes account team and creative designers. Oversee all proofing against merchandising changes across all rounds, print & digital comparisons, and versions. In addition, will need to identify potential conflicts or issues and surface up to internal business teams respectively to resolve. Responsible for approval final ad and all printer proofs.
- Assist Sr. Advertising Manager and financial planning team in compiling pagination templates for review, coordinating meeting schedules to review, and sending out approved paginations.
- Oversee several operational tasks and functions such as:
- coordinate with store operations teams to develop ad ops recap and communication of each week's ad progra
- communication with pricing and store-signage team on ad details for item/price set up and signage at shelf
- conduct weekly ad reviews with merchandising groups, and detail-oriented and multi-task oriented to conduct continual proofing while adhering to multiple deadlines
- 3 to 5 years of experience with print and/or digital weekly ads or catalogs
- Strong project management skills with attention to detail
- Process-oriented and deadline driven
- Organizational skills
- Ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines at a given time
- Leadership: lead and develop team members
- Proficient in Microsoft word, excel, powerpoint
- Desired: proficiency using Monday.com
- Bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a related field of study required.
- +5 years of experience in branding and marketing strategy.
- Experience managing people and /or cross functional teams. Experience in a retail industry.
