Job Details:General Summary:
This role will lead the strategy and planning functions within the Global supply chain team including: network strategy, transportation/distribution strategy projects, capacity planning, and supply chain communications.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Leads the network planning and optimization team to drive the end-to-end network design lifecycle for key optimization models focused on analyzing changes to footprint, flow path, or strategies and its impact on financials and service
Develop and drive key processes and procedures to drive improved accuracy and efficiency within the supply chain including: financial business case analysis, data analysis, annual budgeting, project prioritization, and project reporting
- Owns capacity planning within supply chain including development of tools, processes, and reporting mechanisms to track and report out on our storage and throughput capacities within our distribution network
- Act as conduit for supply chain between key organizational partners in Finance, IT, merchandising, and store operations to drive forward enterprise priorities
- Create, drive, and distribute key supply chain executive communications forward
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Extensive experience & proven track record with running business transformation initiatives by process mapping activities to analyze as-is state of business processes, putting together business cases for transformations, defining future state processes, creating resource plans for execution, managing timelines for programs, and managing program execution.
- Advance the organization forward in its supply chain performance; deliver world-class supply chain performance across all aspects of the supply chain for today's needs, while looking to the future and what needs to happen long term to remain ahead of the competitive curve.
- General knowledge of supply chain, network modeling, and skill set leading supply chain operations in a complex and fast-moving operating environment
- Provide consulting level support and guidance through key initiatives, proactively share knowledge of risks and opportunities to build competitive advantage and improve efficiency and effectiveness of all Supply Chain functions
- Proven business acumen and command of the financial components of supply chain operations
- Possess a deep level of curiosity to understand the improvements required within the operation and take initiative to drive change
- Experience managing and executing large projects from start to finish including project management, data gathering, and modeling, problem-solving and communicating recommendations
- Clear communicator with keen ability to present findings in succinct presentations, experience with executive communications
- Capable of managing multiple projects and prioritizing deadlines within the team
- Extremely organized and detail-oriented worker - ability to keep track of project impacting details and manage multiple, simultaneous programs with competing priorities
- Strong quantitative, analytical and critical thinking skills with demonstrated use of data analysis and metrics to drive decision making and continuous improvement
- Experience leading, coaching and developing high performing supply chain professionals
Work Experience &/or Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, General Business, or a similar field
- 5+ years' experience in years' relevant supply chain experience in operational or consulting roles
- 3+ years' experience in managing teams
- Strong domain knowledge & expertise in Supply Chain Management
- Experience with supply chain financial management or FP&A activities
- Proven track record of designing, implementing, and supporting large scale supply chain projects
- Experience with Microsoft Office
- Experience with LLamasoft Supply Chain Guru, JDA, or similar modeling tools
- Experience in SQL, Power BI, Python, Data Guru, or similar data tools
- Experience with Supply Chain Systems are a big plus - including but not limited to ERP systems, Transportation Management Systems, Warehouse Management Systems, Slotting Softwares
