Our community is looking for a Schedule / Staffing Coordinator to join our team.
**Job Summary:**
The Schedule Coordinator is responsible for creating, managing, and coordinating schedules for Wellness/Nursing department. This role involves ensuring optimal use of time and resources, facilitating communication among team members, and supporting staffing timelines. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Develop and maintain detailed schedules for the Nursing/Wellness department, ensuring all staffing ratios are met.
- Manage and implement the monthly working schedules for direct care staff which include nurses, care managers, and med techs.
- Replacing call-offs and monitor and update schedules regularly to reflect changes and resolve conflicts as they arise.
- Responsible for filling staffing vacancies due to PTO FMLA, workers comp and restrictions/absences, open position, ect. - using scheduling software (OnShift)
- Ording nursing supplies and restock as areas as needed based on community needs
- Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures related to scheduling and time management.
- Perform other administrative duties as needed to support the team and project objectives.
**Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be 18 years of age
- Previous work experience preferred
- Proven experience in a scheduling or administrative role, preferably in Healthcare/Senior Living.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on collaboration.
- Proficiency in Microsoft, (Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with scheduling software (OnShift)
