Compensation Range:
Anticipated Base compensation rate is in the range of $54.88 - $65.17 / Hour depending on qualifications and experience.

Expectations:
The Wound, Ostomy, Continence Nurse (WOCN) is responsible for supporting the infrastructure necessary to develop and maintain a therapeutic environment for patients, families, and staff members. Coordinates treatment to provide comprehensive wound assessments and plan of care including goals, implementation of treatment, evaluation and outcomes for patients throughout the organization. Provides patient, family and staff education regarding wound management, prevention of pressure injuries, support surfaces, dressing selections and other therapies. Is a resource person for physicians and clinical staff. Participates in performance improvement plan of the organization. This position will work in collaboration with the Certified Wound, Ostomy, Continence Nurse who will concur with and co-sign the treatment plan.
EDUCATION:BSN. Diploma or transcripts on highest degree earned required.
EXPERIENCE/TRAINING:Minimum one year recent clinical experience.
LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:Required:Current unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by California Board of Registered Nursing (BRN)
SKILLS:Expertise in the management of difficult patient, family and staff situations. Exemplary organization and problem solving skills. Leadership ability and collaborative style. Ability to manage activities and multiple priorities within complex systems.
