Always Best Care Senior Services - Oahu is currently seeking compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) to join our team in Honolulu, Hawaii. The Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) will play a vital role in providing comprehensive care for residents, ensuring their overall well-being and comfort. This includes assisting with personal care, closely monitoring health, facilitating engaging recreational activities, and maintaining a clean and organized living space. Responsibilities: * Providing assistance to residents in daily activities such as bathing, dressing, eating, and toileting, ensuring their comfort and dignity. * Monitoring residents' physical and mental health, promptly reporting any changes to the supervising nurse for immediate attention and care. * Offering compassionate emotional support and engaging residents in stimulating recreational activities to enhance their quality of life. * Observing and accurately recording residents' vital signs, promptly reporting any abnormalities to the nurse to ensure timely medical intervention. * Maintaining clean and organized living spaces, ensuring a hygienic and comfortable environment for residents, and assisting with laundry when necessary. * Adhering to safety and infection control protocols, prioritizing residents' well-being and safety at all times. * Collaborating with healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalized care plans for residents, ensuring their individual needs are met. Requirements: * Must possess a valid CNA certification from an accredited program, showcasing the necessary skills and knowledge for the role. * Minimum of 1-year experience in a healthcare or senior care facility, demonstrating a solid understanding of resident care. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, allowing for effective interaction and relationship-building with residents and their families. * Flexibility to work varied hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, to ensure continuous care for residents. * Physical ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds, enabling assistance with mobility and day-to-day activities. * Successful completion of a criminal background check and drug screening, ensuring the safety and well-being of residents. Compensation: This is a full-time position offering a competitive salary range of $20 to $22 per hour, paid on a weekly basis.
