**Schedule:** Days, Mids, OR Nights Available

**Shift** : 7:00pm-7:00am, 11a-11p, OR 7:00am-7:00pm

**Staffing Options:**

**Missed Shift (absent/sick):** if you miss a commitment shift during your contracted time period, you will need to make it up within 6 weeks.

**Staffing Options** (Choose an option)- Will float to all areas of competency. Procedural areas require scheduled on call rotation.

**RN Tier 1 CSO PRN- $45/HR Shift diff**

· Commit to 36 hours per 6-week schedule

· Hours are not guaranteed

· Work 1 weekend shift per 6-week schedule

· Work 1 holiday during commitment period (if app)

· Works at one AH facility with minimum competency to work 1 area/unit

· Reports to CTX CSO department leaders

**RN-Tier 2 CSO PRN** - **$47/HR Shift diff**

· Commit to 36 hours per 6-week schedule

· Hours are not guaranteed

· Work 1 weekend shift per 6-week schedule

· Work 1 holiday during commitment period (if app)

· Works at two AH facilities with minimum competency to work 1 area/unit

· Reports to CTX CSO department leaders

**RN Tier 3 CSO PRN** - **$50/HR Shift diff**

· Commit to 48 hours -per pay period-

· Hours are not guaranteed

· Work 4 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule

· Work 1 holiday during commitment period (if app)

· Works at two AH facilities with minimum competency to work 2 areas/units

· May request 1-week unpaid vacation during commitment period. Must provide manager 4 weeks' notice for vacation requests

· Reports to CTX CSO departmental leaders

**RN Tier 4 CSO PRN** - **$55/HR Shift diff**

· Commit to 72 hours -per pay period-

· Hours are not guaranteed

· Work 4 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule

· Work 1 holiday during commitment period (if app)

· Works at 2 AH facilities with minimum competency to work 2 areas/units.

· May request 1-week unpaid vacation during commitment period. Must provide manager 4 weeks' notice for vacation requests

· Reports to CTX CSO departmental leaders

· May be contracted to a specific unit/site manager

**The role you'll contribute:**

The ED Registered Nurse (RN) provides direct patient centered care in a critical care area as part of a multidisciplinary team to prioritize care through appropriate triage, assess the needs of the patient and provide treatment, and properly disposition the patient. The ED RN provides patient-centered care to a population within the age range of newborn to geriatric.

The ED RN performs a wide variety of job duties during their shifts; promotes and restores patients' health by collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members, completing the nursing process and the patients' plans of care, providing emotional, physical and spiritual support to the patients and their families and supervising assigned team members. The ED RN utilizes physical assessment skills and advanced diagnostic technology to aid in the assessment of the patient's nursing care needs. The ED RN continues to monitor and assess the patient's physical condition, emotional and social needs, continually refining the plan-of-care to ensure achievement of the desired goals of the patient and facility outcomes.

· Provides for delivery of patient care through assessment with identification and prioritization of presenting problems or needs, to facilitate optimum patient care

· Evaluates patients presented to the Emergency Room upon their arrival

o Prioritizes care upon evaluation using the Emergency Severity Index (ESI) tool

o Assigns patients to appropriate treatment area based upon observations, vital signs, a brief history and/or assigned ESI triage level
