**Qualifications:**
Associate's degree in nursing
Certified by NYS as a Registered Nurse
At least 6 months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
Be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
**Responsibilities:**
Provide nursing care for students aged 3-21 across three campuses
Conduct health assessments, manage chronic conditions, and provide emergency care
Administer medications as prescribed by the student's primary care physician
Obtain and maintain accurate and current medication orders and parent permissions
Provide appropriate and necessary nursing action at time of student injury and help determine communication to the family
Record and process all student/staff injuries on the appropriate accident/incident form
Instruct all staff in the Health and Safety Procedures and establish appropriate reviews
Carry out all procedures established in case of medical emergency, delegating the LPN in crisis situations
Monitor the general health and safety standards used within the educational program
Administer inoculations to staff and/or children as approved by the Medical Director
**Location:** Elmwood Avenue, East Henrietta Road, and East Avenue, NY **Pay:** $30 - $33.66 per hour
**Pay Details:** $30.00 to $33.66 per hour
