*This is a benefited, full time position working 10-hr day shifts on varied weekdays, generally from 7:30am-6pm. Rotating day off each week. Located at Scripps Clinic Torrey Pines in La Jolla.*

* Torrey Pines clinic has been serving our San Diego coastal communities for several years.
* Our highly skilled Specialized Services RNs work in an innovative, welcoming, and patient-centered environment.
* The department consists of 25 chairs and do an average of 55-70 cancer treatments including oncology infusions and supporting treatments.
* The care team includes charge and resource nurses and resources, and you will work in close contact with the clinic provider and their team.

*What you'll do: *

* Perform patient assessments and care tasks, including emergency procedures, medication administration, chemotherapy/biotherapy administration as appropriate.
* Educate patients and document patient interactions.
* Practice infection control.
* Contribute to the team as necessary to ensure quality patient care within own scope of practice

*This position is eligible for New Hire Incentives up to $7,000.00. *

The following are not eligible for hiring incentives:

* Internal candidates
* Rehires that left Scripps less than 3 years ago
* Candidates with less than 1 year of experience as an RN

In order to remain eligible for your retention incentive the following criteria must be met :

* Must remain in original hired FTE Status and Shift (if specified in offer letter)
* Must remain in original department/specialty
* Must remain in original Job Title

Transfers to other locations will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and and may result in forfeiting remaining incentive bonus unless specifically noted in your offer letter.

*Required Qualifications:*

* Completion of accredited RN program.
* Minimum 1 year RN experience.
* Current CA RN license.
* Current American Heart Association BLS certificate.
* Oncology Certified Nurse (ONS).
* Hanging chemo experience.

*Preferred Qualifications:*

* 1 or more years RN experience in an outpatient Oncology setting.
* Excellent IV skills and experience with central venous catheters.
* Outpatient chemo infusion experience.
