**Positions details:**

**Location:** St. Anthony's Hospital - St. Petersburg, Florida

**Status:** Full Time

**Shift:** 12:00 PM - 12:00 AM

Every other weekend requirement

**On Call:** Yes

Always in person

**Requirements:**

RN (Registered Nurse) License

Diploma, Associate's, Bachelor's or Higher in Nursing

5 years as a Registered Nurse in Hemodialysis OR 1-year Acute Care as a RN OR 6-months Acute Care experience with prior LPN experience and completed competency assessment

BLS certification with the American Red Cross or American Heart Association

ACLS certification with the American Heart Association

The **Registered Nurse - Hemodialysis** responsibilities and skills:

Works in a hospital setting and independently cares for a group of Dialysis patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards

Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team

Care for patient needs throughout their recovery in critical care

Monitor, record, and update care team on patient vitals and assessments.

Identifying sudden or subtle changes in a patient's medical condition

Responding to medical emergencies for critical patients

Coordinates and documents appropriate discharge planning and referrals to ensure continuity of care after discharge

High emotional intelligence to create a positive patient care experience that includes simplifying medical terminology and concepts to the patient
