Description
*This is a Full-time position (60 hours per pay period) with 10 hour varied shifts. It is Perianesthesia nursing encompassing both Pre and Post Op. **Primary hours are closing shifts which are 1300-2345.**The location is at La Jolla Memorial Hospital. This position is eligible to participate in Scripps award winning benefit Saturday shift every 6 - 8 weeks, 3 -4 call shifts a month.*

Join our team at Scripps Memorial La Jolla where you will care for and monitor patients as they recover from anesthesia.
You will also:
* Monitor heart rate, blood pressure, breathing and respiration
* Manage pain and nausea
* Patient care includes assessment, planning and implementing a plan of care and evaluating patients' progress towards expected outcomes.
* The RN takes primary responsibility for the patients' care as delivered by the Care Team under his/her supervision
* Works collaboratively with other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.
Required:
* Minimum 2 years ICU and/or 1 year of acute PACU RN experience
* Current CA RN License
* Current BLS and ACLS
Preferred
* Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred
* Previous Perianesthesia experience
