Description
Provide nursing care to pateints with orthoepedic diagnosis, including post op care. Also providing nursing care to pateints with neurological diagnosis, including post op care.
EPIC computerized documentation system, Pyxis automated medication dispensing system, bar code scanner used for medication administration,battery operated pateint lift equipment, various braces and immobilizers,
Ideally 5 years experience in general med/surg nursing, preferably experienced in orthopedic and neurology nursing,
Required: BLS thru American Heart Association
May need to float to surgical care units/dept
In the ICU may need to assist with beside line placement, bronchs, chest tubes, etc.
2 years ICU experience
