*Department/Unit Summary*

Our Emergency Department (ED) is comprised of 24 beds with a 1:4 nurse to patient ratio. You will be playing a crucial role in making our community at Lake Havasu City healthier and will be part of a team with a positive and collaborative work environment. At our ED you will approximately see about 75 patients a day and we have a safe working environment. Our ED team combines advanced training with compassionate service to be ready for our patients and their family when they need it the most.

*Qualifications and requirements*
Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess a bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:

* Associate's degree in nursing required
* Arizona Registered Nurse (RN) License or Compact State Registered Nurse (RN) required on hire
* ACLS and PALS are required upon hire
* TNCC required within 6 months of hire
* Moderate and Deep Sedation, EKG course, and NIHSS Stroke within 30 days of hire
* 2 years' experience in Emergency Department preferred. 1 year Paramedic, EMT, or ED Tech experience combined with 1 year RN experience will be considered
