The Device Clinic Registered Nurse (RN) provides clinical services for patient's being treated with cardiac arrhythmias who have implanted cardiac devices. They provide this service in compliance with the policies, procedures and protocols of UnityPoint Health - Meriter and under the direction of a licensed physician who is a member of the Hospital Medical staff. Hospital and clinic protocols are developed in consultation and with the guidance of a Cardiologist who has received training in Electrophysiology.

Minimum Qualifications:
Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). Will consider other nursing degrees on an individual basis, requirement to complete BSN within five (5) years from date of hire.
One-year critical care and/or cardiology experience
BLS
Current licensure as a registered nurse in the State of Wisconsin. Must have current CPR certification or be eligible to complete within three (3) months of hire.
Core knowledge cardiac pathophysiology
Basic rhythm interpretation skills
Basic computer skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
Use of usual and customary equipment used to perform essential functions of the position.
Preferred or Specialized Qualifications
Experience in an electrophysiology setting
ACLS
IBHRE Certification Exam
Advanced rhythm interpretation
