Job Description
- Prescribe medication dosages, routes, and frequencies based on patient characteristics such as age and gender at the order of Physician.
- Develop treatment plans based on scientific rationale, standards of care, and professional practice guidelines at the order of Physician.
- Prescribe medications based on efficacy, safety, and cost as legally authorized by physician.
- Counsel patients about drug regimens and possible side effects or interactions with other substances such as food supplements, over-the-counter (OTC) medications, or herbal remedies as directed by Physician.
- Recommend interventions to modify behavior associated with health risks as directed by physician.
- Educate patients about self-management of acute or chronic illnesses, tailoring instructions to patients' individual circumstances.

This is a fully on-site position in Albany, New York. 5 day a week, no late nights or weekend/holidays required.
Work Environment
Hours will be Monday through Friday from 8am-5 PM. Dress is medical scrubs. The organization assists with developmentally disabled youth and adults around the Capital Region.
