**$10,000 Sign-On Bonus for eligible full-time new employees joining UW Medicine** **The UW Medical Center-Montlake outpatient Urology Clinic** has an outstanding opportunity for an **Assistant Nurse Manager (job profile: Registered Nurse 3)** to join our team.
**WORK SCHEDULE**
40 hours per week
Monday-Friday only

Our clinic is closed on nights, weekends, and holidays **DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION** The Urology Clinic at UW Medical Center-Montlake diagnoses and treats patients with urologic cancer and general urology conditions. The clinic hosts the Bladder Cancer Multispecialty Clinic and the Prostate Cancer Multispecialty Clinic. UW Medical Center-Montlake Urology was recently recognized as a UW Medicine Patient Experience Top Performer for Medical Practice- Likelihood to Recommend. **PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**
Establishes and maintains credibility as a leader of day-to-day clinic operations
Oversees staffing for Registered Nurses and Medical Assistants
Provides leadership for clinical and administrative functions
Provides feedback to the Clinic Manager for annual performance evaluations
Develops, coordinates, and maintains various work processes that ensure successful daily clinical outcomes
Monitors schedules to streamline clinic services
Promotes effective communication among staff and patients
Identifies staff and resource problems and takes necessary steps toward problem resolutions
Leads the hiring processes for medical assistants and RNs
Implements and manages orientation and educational programs for newly hired staff
Provides expert nursing assessments, assists with phone triage, and educates patients and their families **REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS**
2 years of oncology, urologic, medical-surgical, or ambulatory nursing experience
Previous charge, lead, or supervisory nursing experience
Active BLS
