Description
Under the supervision of the Director / Nurse Manager, the Assistant Clinical Manager assumes both a clinical and management role. This position is responsible to plan, organize, and direct the provision of patient care services within the department. The Assistant Clinical Manager is to assist in the development, implementation, and monitoring of budgets, quality improvement programs, staffing levels, goals, objectives, regulatory compliance, and policies within the department. Also the Assistant Clinical Manager is to assist in the evaluation and discipline of personnel.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Two (2) years RN experience
Must meet or exceed customer service responsibilities, standards and behaviors as outlined in the HFHS' Customer Service Policy: Communication, Ownership, Understanding, Motivation, Sensitivity, Excellence, Teamwork, Respect
Must practice the customer skills as provided through on-going training and in-services
Must possess the following personal qualities: Self-directed; Flexible and Committed to the Team Concept; Demonstrate Teamwork; Initiative, and Willingness to Learn; Be Open to New Learning Experiences, Accepts and Respects Diversity without Judgment; Demonstrates Customer Service Values
LICENSURES / CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
Current RN License in the State of Michigan
BCLS/ACLS per Unit Standard
Certifications appropriate for Specific Unit
