**Job Description:**

The Rehabilitation Manager II has both leadership and clinical responsibilities. This role is accountable for implementing and adhering to all system best practice standards. Additionally, this role ensures that Rehabilitation Services maintains regulatory compliance, achieves and sustains excellence in all organizational fundamentals; patient safety, patient experience, caregiver engagement, equity, quality, access, growth, and stewardship and continually drives toward achieving One Intermountain.

Participates in creating and implementing the department's vision, direction, and continuous improvement process, managing patient care teams, and providing direct patient care. Leads staff in defining patient services, setting standards for patient care, and identifying resources to meet patient needs.

Identifies staffing needs and oversees recruiting, hiring, terminating, disciplinary action, and scheduling to maintain adequate services and ensure both individual and team productivity.

Scope

**The Rehabilitation Manager II typically has the following accountabilities:**

Leadership of multiple caregivers and locations.

Subtotal expenses greater than $1 million

Other factors that may be considered when evaluating the scope of a Rehabilitation Manager II position are number of locations, number of disciplines, number of contracts, and STE/workload/revenue. Rehabilitation Manager II will have a larger scope, portfolio, number of services/disciplines, and locations compared to Rehabilitation Manager I.

**Minimum Qualifications**

Degree and education in Rehabilitation profession consistent with licensure requirements (Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Audiology, Athletic Trainer and Exercise Physiology).

Current and applicable rehabilitation license to practice in the state where they reside.

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers.

Five years of previous experience as a practicing rehabilitation professional.

Experience in developing and promoting programs and/or initiatives in a related setting.

**Preferred Qualifications**

Master's or Doctorate degree.

Two years of professional experience working in a Rehabilitation Services leadership role.

$47.58 - $87.26
