**Registered Nurse (RN) Surgery (Operating Room)**

-Robust, Growing Surgery department is looking for top skilled nurses. Is that you?-

**Work location:** Texas Health Frisco 12400 N Dallas Parkway TX 75033

**Work hours:** Full Time | 40 Hours/ Week | 10:00am - 8;30pm, Variable Days off; Call Required

**Surgery (Operating Room) Department highlights:**

· 8 Operating Rooms Including 3 Robotic Operating Rooms

· Work Neuro, ortho, robotic, eye, plastics, GYN, general, podiatry & urology Cases

**Here's What You Need**

· Associate degree from an accredited Nursing program or Diploma Nurse program

· BSN preferred

· One-year experience as a registered nurse, or completion of an RN residency program.

· 1 Year of Operating Room experience strong preferred

· RN - Registered Nurse Upon Hire (Required upon hire)

· BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support (Required upon hire) AND

· ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support 90 Days Req

**What You Will Do**

Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process

· Assesses the patient

· Plans the care of the patient

· Intervenes as appropriate

· Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions

· Incorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into patient care.

· Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others need for information

· Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital, and while expediting out of hospital transfers.
