**Avera is currently seeking Registered Nurses (RN) looking to deliver the best possible nursing care in Avera's patient-focused settings.**
**-Position Highlights:-**
**Student Loan Repayment:** This RN position may be eligible for Avera's Student Loan Repayment Program, which helps you pay off your loans and save money. Each month an extra payment of $167 (up to $10,000) from Avera will help pay down your principal balance faster.

**Job Summary**
Actively uses the nursing process in goal-focused patient care, demonstrating accountability as an individual and team member.
Provides timely, continuous age appropriate, collaborative assessment and preparation of patient and family for next level of care.
Provides and documents nursing care to pre/post-operative patients of all ages.
Perform a variety of technical skills such as insertion and maintenance of IVs, telemetry, blood product administration, infusion pumps, etc.
Direct, plan and coordinate work flow.
Coordinate care with patients, family, physicians and other nursing staff.
**Licensure/Certification/Registration & Experience**
Licensed Registered Nurse in South Dakota required.
Basic Life Support certification is mandatory within six months of employment.
Previous experience in medical, surgical or pediatric nursing helpful.
**Work Schedule**
Monday-Friday, starting at 6:00am; 60 hours every 2 weeks
8/10/12 hour shifts depending on department needs
no weekend/holiday
**Pay**
The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
$29.50 - 44.25 per hour
