**Registered Nurse (RN) - Surgery Perot**

Texas Health Dallas seeks to hire a Registered Nurse for their Surgery Department.

**Work Location:** 8200 Walnut Hill Lane, Dallas, TX 75231.

**Work environment:** Surgery Department - Robot, Plastics

**Work Hours:** Full time- 40 Hours/week. Days Shift, 7:00am - 5:00pm Tuesday- Friday with the ability to flex schedule as needed; Must be available for on-call nights and weekends

**Here's What You Need**

· Associate degree Nursing required or Nursing Diploma

· BSN (Preferred)

· 1 Year Experience as a registered nurse or completion of an RN residency program (Required)

· 2 years of Experience as a registered nurse in the Operating Room

· Robot and Plastic surgery experience preferred

· Scrubbing experience helpful

· RN - Registered Nurse (Required upon hire)

· BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support (Required upon hire)

**What You Will Do**

Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process

· OR RN Surgery Circulator duties and skills

· Assesses the patient

· Plans the care of the patient

· Intervenes as appropriate

· Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions

· Incorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into patient care.

· Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others need for information

· Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital, and while expediting out of hospital transfers.
