**Work location:** 850 Ed Hall Drive, Kaufman, TX 75142

**Work hours:** Full Time, 40 hours/week. Sunday, Monday Tuesday. 3:00pm - 3:00am

**Department highlights:**

Number two ED in the THR system for Patient Experience

Received a commendation award for excellent maternal/neonatal care

Active established UBC that collaborates with other departments

**Here's What You Need**

**Education**

Nursing Diploma Nursing **is required** Or

Associate's Degree Nursing **is required** Or

Bachelor's Degree Nursing **is preferred**

**Experience**

1 Year Experience as a Registered Nurse or completion of an RN residency program **is required**

1 year of ER experience is **strongly preferred**

**Licenses and Certifications**

RN - Registered Nurse Upon Hire **is required** And

BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly **is required** And

ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support 90 Days **is required** And

PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support 90 Days **is required**

**What You Will Do**

Using barcode medication verification (BMV) during medication administrations

Providing consistent attention to airway, intake, elimination, sleep, rest, mobility and hygiene needs
