As a member of our staff, you will be providing vital administrative support to one of our many partners throughout Florida.

Purpose:

This position will provide RN Quality and Risk support to the Vice President of Quality. The RN for Quality and Risk will conduct quality assurance meetings and participate in supporting quality, risk safety meetings to improve organizational performance along with making designated companies a safe place for team members and residents.

Essential Duties:

You will conduct monthly on-site inspections, both scheduled and unannounced, across various facilities, including Day Programs, Skilled Nursing, Assisted Living, and Group Homes. Your responsibilities include overseeing quality and risk management, assessing facilities and residents, and providing guidance.

Regular communication with Directors, Nurses, and Management is required to offer consultations and strategic advice. You will also participate in Executive Nursing Committee activities, such as procedure reviews, protocol updates, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Additionally, you will assist with new employee orientation and training, focusing on Medication Administration and Validation. You will develop and monitor quality improvement metrics, analyze data, and provide quarterly reports to drive performance improvements and safety.

Your role involves meeting with Nurses and Management to support quality, risk management, and performance improvement activities, including incident reviews. You will also review incident reports, monitor trends, and implement action plans to enhance safety.

Other duties include providing clinical support for employee health initiatives and adhering to attendance policies. You are expected to maintain a professional demeanor, collaborate effectively, and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.

Required Qualification:

Valid RN license in Florida required.

One-year prior quality assurance, risk or clinical background required.

Must be proficient in electronic health record systems and Microsoft excel.

Must be able to travel/drive to facilities.

Must have Proof of valid auto liability insurance.

Must have a valid Florida Driver's license.

Driving record must meet the companies driving requirement.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelors of Science in Nursing.

Prior nursing management and Long-Term care experience preferred.
