Outpatient Infusion (OPI) at the Penn Princeton Cancer Center serves adult Oncology and Non-oncology patients requiring infusion and/or transfusion treatment and support. We are a close-knit, interdisciplinary department focused on providing compassionate, highly-skilled and competent care to our patients to instill confidence and comfort across the continuum of care. We pride ourselves on the level of care provided and the relationships formed with our patients, drawing on their strength, resiliency and hope. Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Strong IV and central line skills - implanted ports and PICC lines; accessing and maintaining
Previous oncology experience and/or experience with hazardous drugs
Strong multi-system assessment skills and symptom management
Critical thinking
Good time management skills and the ability to prioritize responsibilities

What We Require for this Role:
Education
Associate degree in nursing required.
Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
Related Work Experience
Greater than 15 months of professional nursing experience required.
LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION REQUIREMENT
Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
Active NJ RN license required.
Chemo-Biotherapy Certification within 6-months of hire; Oncology Nurse Certification within 2 years of hire.
