**Job Duties and Responsibilities:**
As an RN in the Operating Room, you will provide direct patient care and addresses the psychosocial, physical, and general aspects of care related to the surgical O. R. environment.
**Additional Duties and Responsibilities:**
Communicate with surgeons and anesthesiologists continuously and as needed about patient conditions
Assist with the maintenance of surgical equipment and inventory,
Participate in performance improvement activities
Assess the operating room for equipment functioning and readiness
Obtain supplies for individual cases and ensure all appropriate needs of the surgical operating team are met
Monitor, position and assist patients during procedures
**Educational Requirements:**
Minimum Associate's Degree in Nursing
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, preferred
**License/Certification Requirements:**
Current CA RN license
BLS through the American Heart Association
CNOR, preferred
**Experience:**
Minimum of 1 year of OR experience
Three (3) years of OR experience, strongly preferred
**Working Title:** Registered Nurse - Operating Room, 12-hr, 6:00AM-6:30PM Shifts ($7,500 Sign-on Bonus)
