Job Description:

The Registered Nurse (RN) is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating care of patients. The staff RN utilizes the nursing process by use of technology, therapeutic intervention, evidence-based practice and coordination of care with other health team members.

Job Details:

Hours: Full-time 36-40 hour per week positions

Shifts: Variable Shifts

Minimum Qualifications:

Registered Nurse - Licensed

Entry pay: $32.50/hour

  • Current RN License in state of practice.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification for healthcare providers.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

The Registered Nurse New Graduate Transition to Practice Residency Program is based on the Vizient and American Association of Colleges of Nursing (Vizient/AACN) Nurse Residency Program. This program is specifically designed to ensure you have the clinical knowledge, tools and support you need as you begin your professional nursing career!

How our paid, 12-month program sets you up for success:

  • Our curriculum focuses on 4 main pillars - leadership, quality outcomes, professional development & evidence-based practice - & is based on the most up-to-date evidence
  • Your clinical orientation/preceptorship on your unit of hire will be tailored to your individual experience and readiness for independent practice.
  • There will be monthly skill sessions & an evidence-based practice project focusing on a topic pertinent to your clinical unit
  • You'll have dedicated site & system residency coordinators to support you throughout the program and beyond.
