**$10,000 Sign-On Bonus to eligible new employees joining UW Medicine** **UW Medical Center - Northwest** has an outstanding opportunity for a **Night Shift Registered Nurse** to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
**ABOUT OUR ICU**
We are a general medical ICU offering cardiac, neuro, respiratory, and post-surgical monitoring
We offer 15 individual rooms for patients
We consistently hold 1:2 nurse to patient ratios
Our RNs work in close partnership with our intensivists, physicians, and certified nursing assistants
We are a close-knit team that values camaraderie and collaboration **WORK SCHEDULE**
36 hours per week
3x12 shift schedule
Night shifts (7:00pm-7:30am)
Must be available to work weekend shifts **PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**
Work alongside physicians, intensivists, social workers, and care managers
Follow evidence-based nursing practices
Provide bedside for critically ill patients, including those admitted for septic shock, post-cardiac arrest, acute respiratory failure, and strokes
Monitor and administer medications and IVs
Provide personalized care with compassion, dignity, and respect **REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS**
1 year of recent ICU nursing experience, or equivalent nursing experience on a high acuity critical care unit
Active BLS
Active ACLS
