Description
To ensure adequate staffing in patient care areas during the weekend, AHS maintains a Special Weekend Staffing Program for designated team members. This will allow for assignments of special pay rates and team member benefits for Registered Nurses in exchange for a regular commitment to covering weekend shifts. Registered nurses will work 24 weekend hours and receive payment for 36 hours.
RNWPP option I (Job Code 2362 Registered Nurse, WI) - Two (2) twelve (12) hour shifts (24 Hours) between the hours of 7:00p. m. Friday to 7:30a. m. Monday and receive payment for 36 hours. RNWPP will be required to work four out of the four
Principal Accountabilities:
1. Maintains accurate, complete health care records and reports.
2. Administers medications to patients and monitors them for side effects and reactions.
3. Prescribes assistive medical devices and related treatments.
4. Monitors, reports, and records symptoms or changes in patient conditions.
5. Assesses, implements, plans, or evaluates patient nursing care plans by working with healthcare team members.
6. Records patient vital signs and medical information.
7. Performs other related duties as assigned.
Education:
Graduate of an accredited Nursing program required
ASN; BSN Preferred
License/Certifications:
Valid NJ RN License required
BLS required
Med/Surg preferred
