Summary of Job Purpose: To apply nursing process to and administer patient care to Emergency Department patients per hospital policy and procedure. Population served based on scope of services in the department.

Essential Job Qualifications:

Education: Nursing diploma or graduate of accredited school of nursing

License: Current NYS RN License

Experience: Preferred 3 years medical-surgical experience. Previous ED experience preferred

Other: ENPC, CEN, TNCC, preferred

Training: ACLS, BLS required, PALS preferred within 1 yr of hire.

Location: Rhinebeck-NDH 6511 Springbrook Avenue

Work Type: Full-Time

Occupational: Significant occupational risk

Physical Effort: Very Heavy effort. May exert up to 50 lbs. force

Physical Environment: Significant exposure to dirt, odors, noise, human waste, etc.
