Job Requisition: REQ2952 Employment Type: Full-Time Shift: Days Hours Per Week: 40 hours
Hiring Range: $38.18 - $49.63
The actual compensation for this position will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
Responsibilites:
- Collaborates with nurse managers and staff to assess learning needs and competencies.
- Develops, implements, and evaluates educational plans/programs and utilizes methods, measurements and tools to evaluate achievement of learning goals.
- Identifies and/or develops teaching tools and instructional materials.
- Keeps records of educational activities and prepares reports.
Complexity of Work:
- Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment.
Personal Protective Equipment:
- Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
- Required Credential(s):
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the New York Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
- Preferred Credential(s):
- Advanced Life Support.
- BLS Provider.
- Educator specializing in Childbirth credentialed from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).
Education:
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required. Must be able to speak, read, write and follow instructions in English.
Compensation Information:
$38.18 / Hourly - $38.18 / Hourly
Starting At: 38.18 Hourly
Up To: 49.63 Hourly
