**$10,000 Sign-On Bonus to eligible new employees joining UW Medicine** **UW Medical Center-Northwest** has an outstanding opportunity for a **Registered Nurse** to join our renowned **Digestive Health and Hepatology Clinics** .
**WORK SCHEDULE**
40 hours per week
Monday-Friday only
Day shifts only **DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION** Our Digestive Health & Hepatology Clinics provide procedural and consultative services for digestive disorders, which include inflammatory bowel disease (Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis), IBS, and motility disorders. We also support patients with an array of liver diseases including chronic viral and autoimmune hepatitis, MASH/MASLD, alcoholic liver disease, and cirrhosis. This is a great opportunity to work alongside a renowned team of experts in a role where no two shifts are alike. **PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**
Assist our providers with routine assessments
Answer and triage patient calls and MyChart messages
Follow up on medical records and test results
Educate patients and their families on ongoing healthcare needs
Provide care coordination services for patients with complex liver problems
Document patient care outcomes in our EHR system (Epic) **REQUIRED POSITION QUALIFICATIONS**
1 year of recent ambulatory or medical-surgical nursing experience
Active BLS
