**Shift: 7a-7p; Rotating weekends, Rotating holidays**

**-Primary Patient Population:-**
**Acutely ill pediatric to adult patients**
**Level 1 Trauma Center**
**-Primary skills utilized/learned:-**
**Patient Assessments**
**Patient Triage**
**Trauma care**
**IV insertion, blood draws, Foley catheter insertion**
**Time management, critical thinking, delegating**
**-Personnel RN will work with-** **-:-**
**LPNs, Paramedics, Patient Care Nursing Assistants (PCNAs), Behavioral Observers (BO), Providers**
**-Number of beds on unit:-**
**93 beds (Clinical Decision Unit (CDU) included)**
**10 Trauma Bays**
**80k+ patient visits annually**

Required Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing (or a program seeking accreditation).
Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Ohio
Current AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, PEARS certifications or obtained within 90 days of hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
BSN
Professional Certification recognized by the Magnet Association
