Our **St. Luke's Cancer Institute** clinics are MAGNET-certified, dynamic, full-service outpatient hematology/oncology treatment centers offering chemo/bio/and radiation therapies. Patients and their families have trusted St. Luke's Cancer Institute for more than 50 years for advanced, compassionate care for cancer blood disorders. Today we are a network of five cancer centers dedicated to state-of-the-art treatment close to home; patient-centered care and support; cutting-edge research; and community prevention, education, and early detection initiatives. St. Luke's holds a Commission on Cancer (CoC) cancer program accreditation - this is a quality program of the American College of Surgeons which demonstrates a cancer program's commitment to providing high-quality, multidisciplinary, patient-centered cancer care.

**What you can expect from this role**

Part-time (0.6 FTE): day shift - no nights or weekends!

Schedule: 3 days a week x 8-hour shifts

Rotating holiday schedule: 1 holiday a year (St. Luke's observes 6 major holidays)

Certification pay (ex. OCN)

Chemo Infusion: provides hands on nursing care for the oncology population by administering high-risk medications such as chemotherapy and immunotherapy in the chemotherapy infusion center (the chemotherapy infusion center also administers blood products, fluids, and injections)

Our Boise chemotherapy infusion center (CIC) location has 24 chemo chairs/beds and is open from 0630-1800

Triage:critical thinking and assessment skills taking triage calls to evaluate patients of all ages receiving treatment

Promote a positive patient experience with compassion and kindness while integrating technical skills, scientific knowledge, and a caring attitude both in the clinic and through the triage process to aid those living with cancer and their families

**Minimum qualifications for this role**

Education: Nursing Degree

Experience: One (1) + years' RN experience

Licenses/Certifications: Current RN licensure from the State of Practice and Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider Certified through American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or American Health & Safety Institute

Preferred:Oncology experience, OCN certification, and/or ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy certification
