JOB TITLE: Registered Nurse CLASSIFICATION: Central Nursing PROGRAM/DEPARTMENT: Full Time, Monday-Friday, Non-ExemptIMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR: RN Supervising Residential NursePOSITION SUMMARY: Registered Nurse ensuring appropriate medical care to the people we serve, directly or through an LPN, by: performing skilled nursing duties; providing training, direction, and assistance to direct care staff; communicating and enforcing medical policies and procedures; providing oversight to certified staff in the administration of medication. QUALIFICATIONS:Minimum Education, Training & Experience:Current New York State Registered Nurse licensePreferred Education, Training & Experience:Experience working with people with developmental disabilities is (1) year nursing experience ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND ABILITIES:Valid New York State driver's license that meets the Agency's driving policy and reliable transportationAbility and willingness to travel to various Intandem locations to perform skilled nursing dutiesAbility to demonstrate empathy and sensitivity to the physical and psychological needs of the people we serveEffective communication effectively orally and in writing SALARY:$36-$42 per hour depending upon years Licensed$7,500 sign on bonus paid over 2 years
