Health Advocates Network is seeking a **Registered Nurse** to work at a Correctional Facility in **Hookerton, North Carolina** . This is a registry position with our company.
**40hrs Travel Package**
Weekly Gross Pay = $1400
Local Hourly Rate (Taxable) = $35
Weekly Travel Stipend Non-Taxed- goes to the net pay = $1092 (Hotel-686 Meals-406)
**Total Weekly ($1092 is not taxed)= $2492**
Feels like per hour = $62.3
$2492 div 40 hours = $62.3
**36hrs Travel Package**
Weekly Gross Pay = $1224
Local Hourly Rate (Taxable) = $34
Weekly Travel Stipend Non-Taxed- goes to the net pay = $1022 (Hotel-672 Meals-350)
**Total Weekly ($1022 is not taxed)= $2246**
Feels like per hour = $62.39
$2246 div 36 hours = $62.39
**Shifts Available:**
1 st shift 6a-230pm or 12 hr shift 6a-630pm
Required to work every other weekend. Start date ASAP.
**Minimum Qualifications:**
**At least one year (12 months) of experience as a Registered Nurse**
A valid and current RN license issued by the State of **North Carolina**
A valid and current BLS card (American Heart Association)
Proficiency in the English language is necessary for communication with other staff and patients. RN must be able to communicate effectively in oral and written English.
**Qualified for travel rate if permanent residence is 50+ miles away**
**Job Responsibilities:**
Provides general nursing care to patients
Administers prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques.
Prepares equipment and aids physician during treatments and examinations of patients.
Observes patient, records significant conditions and reactions, and notifies supervisor or physician of patient's condition and reaction to drugs, treatments, and significant incidents.
Takes temperature, pulse, blood pressure, and other vital signs to detect deviations from normal and assess condition of patient.
May serve as leader for group of personnel rendering nursing care to number of patients.
