Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing direct patient care, developing and implementing nursing care plans, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a compassionate approach to patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

Assess and monitor patients' health status and vital signs.

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.

Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop individual care plans.

Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatment options, and self-care techniques.

Document patient care activities accurately and promptly in electronic medical records (EMR).

Provide emotional support and reassurance to patients and families during challenging times.

Follow all safety protocols and infection control measures to maintain a safe environment.

Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York

Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

years of nursing experience in (specific area, e. g., acute care, pediatrics, etc.) preferred.

BLS and ACLS certifications required.

Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
