**Regional Registered Nurse (part-time) - Ambulatory Infusion**

**Location** : Bellaire, TX

This position will be based at our Bellaire, TX Infusion Center with the expectation to travel to our Houston area centers for coverage as needed. This is a part-time, float position.

**Clinic Hours:** 8am - 5pm or 7am - 7pm depending on location.

The **Regional** **Registered Nurse - Ambulatory Infusion** is responsible for the administration of all ordered therapies.

**How You Will Make an Impact**

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

Performs duties within the Nurse's scope of practice, the facility's policies/procedures, INS Standards of practice, and approved facility protocols.

Prepare (including mixing medications) and administers ordered therapies according to prescriber order, facility protocols, INS standards and company policy and procedures.

Completes admission process as directed by Center Director.

Performs physical assessment on each patient as warranted and for new consults as warranted by the patient diagnosis.

Refer to the NP on duty for complete physical assessment as needed.

Documents all pertinent data in the patient's medical record.

Reports all significant changes or observations to the Center Director and is responsible for the follow up on any problem which is identified.

Evaluates the patient's response to therapy and documents this finding in the medical record.

Educates patients and/or family members regarding therapy plan.

Educates patients and/or family members regarding therapy plan.

Ensures that all medication orders are complete, appropriate, accurate and up to date prior to treatment.

Understands and adheres to all applicable state, local and Federal laws and / or regulations including maintaining patient confidentiality through abiding by HIPAA laws/regulations.

Provides clinical coverage for Registered Nurses on PTO/LOA and may also support new market launches. May require extensive travel to worksite and other locations as necessary.

**Minimum Requirements:**

ASN or ADN and a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Requires a current unrestricted RN license in the state of Texas.

BLS (AHA) certification

**Preferred Qualifications:**

Previous management experience.

Prefer 5+ years of experience with IV.

BSN.

Multi-state license a plus.

Satisfactory completion of a Tuberculosis test is a requirement for this position and Hepatitis B vaccine or signed waiver.
