Full-Time LPN - Pediatric Skilled Nursing (2 Positions) - Maryville, TN
Job Description:Are you a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with a passion for pediatric care? We have two full-time positions in Maryville, TN, to care for siblings. The brother, a 7-year-old male, requires total care, including G-tube management. The sister needs skilled nursing care but does not require total care. Both roles involve attending school with the children during the week and providing necessary medical care.

Hours:Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Patient Details:
Brother:7-year-old male needing total care and G-tube management.
Sister:Young female needing skilled nursing care.
Responsibilities:
For the Brother:Provide total care and G-tube management throughout the day, including during school hours.
For the Sister:Provide skilled nursing care during school hours.
Work with the healthcare team, school staff, and family to ensure proper care for both siblings.
Keep accurate records of care.
Requirements:
LPN license in Tennessee.
Pediatric care experience, especially with G-tube management.
CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
Strong communication skills and ability to work with children and families.
Ability to work independently and provide compassionate care.

Responsibilities
Perform selected nursing procedures within the scope of LPN practice
Provide patient and family teaching according to plan outlined by the RN
Monitor patient's vital signs and make specific measurements and observations
Monitor and record intake and output. Report significant changes immediately
Observe, assess and record patient's physical and mental condition and reports any changes
Administer medications as instructed and as ordered by the physician and instructed by the RN and document the patient's file accordingly
Attend and participate in multi-disciplinary patient case conferences, staff meetings and in-service education programs as assigned
Qualifications
Licensed Practical Nurse / LPN license in good standing
Previous private duty, home health, hospice, hospital or skilled nursing experience preferred
Active CPR certification
Familiarity with electronic health records
Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
Reliable transportation, valid driver's license and current automobile insurance
