Flexible Part-Time LPN Needed for Night Shifts in Rutherford, TN
Location:Rutherford, TN
Position:Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Part-Time
Hours:16-19 hours per week, 2 nights/week (varying nights)

This role involves working with trach/vent patients, ensuring their well-being during night shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality nursing care to trach/vent patients in their homes.
Monitor and assess patient conditions, administering treatments as necessary.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
Educate patients and families on care procedures and healthy practices.
Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
Valid LPN license in the state of Tennessee.
Experience with trach/vent care preferred.
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work flexible nights as needed.

Responsibilities
Perform selected nursing procedures within the scope of LPN practice
Provide patient and family teaching according to plan outlined by the RN
Monitor patient's vital signs and make specific measurements and observations
Monitor and record intake and output. Report significant changes immediately
Observe, assess and record patient's physical and mental condition and reports any changes
Administer medications as instructed and as ordered by the physician and instructed by the RN and document the patient's file accordingly
Attend and participate in multi-disciplinary patient case conferences, staff meetings and in-service education programs as assigned
Qualifications
Licensed Practical Nurse / LPN license in good standing
Previous private duty, home health, hospice, hospital or skilled nursing experience preferred
Active CPR certification
Familiarity with electronic health records
Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
Reliable transportation, valid driver's license and current automobile insurance
