Responsibilities

Northern New Jersey Center for Advanced Endoscopy (NNJC), a GI Ambulatory Surgical Center in Englewood Cliffs, NJ has an exciting opportunity for a full time Patient Service Coordinator to join their team!

5 days per week/ 8 hours per day. Hours: 6am-2:30pm

- Register and greet patients and answer multiple phone lines - Schedule procedures - Verify Insurance - Prepare charts - Knowledge of billing, invoicing and medical records - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask and prioritize - Other administrative duties as assigned What you'll know: - A successful applicant must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship - High School Diploma (or equivalent) - Minimum of one year of experience in a medical office setting - Knowledge of EMR and medical terminology, including CPT codes, ICD-10 codes, patient registration, charge entry functions or other billing related experience is preferred - Scheduling software experience preferred - Computer proficiency in MS Office Suite of products - Strong written and oral communication skills - Must be a team-player with excellent multi-tasking and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

Experience:

Medical office: 1 year (Preferred)

EMR systems: 1 year (Preferred) Insurance verification: 1 year (Preferred)

USD $20.00/Hr. USD $24.00/Hr.
